Sad news. The legendary manager, producer and artist Malcolm McLaren died of cancer earlier today. I found a snippet on youtube from an interview on Enough Rope. What a fascinating character he was.

I’m working on new music

April 8, 2010  |  Blog

I still have a bunch of older music that I will add to the site during the next weeks or so. Also I got ideas for some more pages and info that will be added soon. In the meantime I’m working on a new original track, which is kind of exciting because it has been a while since I did something of my own. When it’s good enough to show to the world I’ll add a demo here (or technically on Soundcloud – which is a really good site).

Why should I buy an iPad?

April 5, 2010  |  Gear

All the tech sites this weekend¬†were filled with awe for the newly released Apple iPad. Since Apple first showed their new Jesus tablet, I’ve been asking myself if¬†this is something I currently need. And for the most part, although it seems to be a really sexy toy, I will have to answer no. I already have two portable computers, a HTC mobile with internet connection and an iPod Touch¬†with the Spotify app and twenty or so music apps and games. But this may change quickly as new apps start to appear for the iPad. What could tip me over to the other side would be a smart music app that would use the big touch screen in an innovative way. Something that I could use when I make music. The other day I read about the Rj Voyager application. It looks interesting but it’s not really for me, just yet.¬†Demo below..

Cargo, a Swiss Science Fiction Thriller

April 3, 2010  |  Film

Cargo is a great new Sci Fi thriller from Switzerland that I would like to recommend. It’s low budget but it doesn’t look low budget – it has state of the art FX and a compelling story. Highly recommended! Trailer below.
